In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there;
在圣诞节前夜,
整间屋里没有一人在吵,
就连老鼠也不闹;
长袜已被小心地挂到烟囱上,
我希望圣尼古拉很快就来到;
The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of sugar-plums danced in their heads;
And mamma in her ;kerchief, and I in my cap,
Had just settled our brains for a long win
篇四:有关圣诞节的英文诗歌
Wishing You Christmas Joy 祝你圣诞快乐
See
That red truck
coming down the mountain
with our tree?Davey;s eyes light up;
joy flutters accross his face like a dove in flight;
excitement dances around his legs as they convey him
to window, back to Mother;s lap, to door--searching, yearning
belief tugging his toes. It won;t be long now. I know. He looks into her
quiet face, beaming. Listen....listen, someone;s coming up the drive. Maybe it;s
Father. Could it be father?"Yes! Yes!" he cries. He races to the door and yanks it wide.
It is!
It is
It is!
